First Nation Family - My Muyan-Bara

My Muyan-Bara is designed by Sherren Gross an indigenous woman of the Nunukul, Nughie and Gorenpul People from Minjerribah (Nth. Stradbroke Is.) South Eastern Queensland. The name muyan-bara was chosen by Sherren from her native Jandai dialect meaning skin people, family being of the same skin group or clan group.

Sherren offers a remarkable insight into her peoples heritage by way of this beautiful family display and the story included in the set.
